 For me this issue is going to be very important to address with the admin
 redesign project, we need a way for third-party developers and core to be
 able to render extra fields in the posts pages (and any other listing page
 using DataViews) while ensuring that these extra fields don't impact the
 default return value of the endpoints performance wise...
