 With @spacedmonkey's approval on the [https://github.com/WordPress
 /wordpress-develop/pull/9281 linked pull request], I'm moving this to the
 6.9 milestone.

 Changes in the PR:

 * `*_transient()` calls replaced with `*_site_transient()`
 * Class level `@since` tag noting the use of the global cache on MS.
