 Hi all,

 After reviewing this ticket, I'm closing it as `wontfix`.

 Since WordPress 5.8, the classic widgets system has been replaced by the
 block-based editor as part of the project's shift toward Full Site
 Editing. Core development is now focused exclusively on the modern block
 editor and FSE components.

 Consequently, the legacy widget system is no longer receiving feature
 enhancements or non-critical bug fixes. For those who need the old
 interface, the official Classic Widgets plugin is the recommended
 solution.

 While this issue won't be fixed in core, please feel free to reopen the
 ticket if you believe this is a mistake or wish to continue the
 discussion. 😃
