 I observed similar behavior when I followed the steps.

 - WordPress: 6.8-alpha-59274-src
 - PHP: 8.2.25
 - Server: nginx/1.27.2
 - Database: mysqli (Server: 8.0.40 / Client: mysqlnd 8.2.25)
 - Browser: Chrome 132.0.0.0
 - OS: macOS
 - Theme: Twenty Twenty-Five 1.0

 After digging in, I discovered that this behavior is only seen in the
 Twenty-Twenty-Four theme since it applies a white background to the text.


 After looking at the zoomed-in version of the "Pattern Preview" with the
 TwentyTwenty-Five theme, we can still see a slight right shift which is
 still inconsistent with that of the editor, but that difference is not
 noticeable.
