Comment:

 Because there are problems with the Meetup API that are delaying the
 ability to separate these two groups of links, it would be very helpful to
 split this into two separate tickets: one with the accessibility
 improvements, and leaving this one as the ticket to separate the global
 and local events. Can you split this up, @alh0319?
