 @Mamaduka I agree with Joe and support this suggestion: It's better to
 expose this data only to logged-in users since themes and plugins can
 modify these values, and they may not be meant to be public. If so, I
 would add it as a filter in the rest_index callback, like how application
 passwords are handled.
