 @kkmuffme Just checking in here regarding the issue you originally
 reported.

 The current `str_starts_with` logic in `WP_Textdomain_Registry` is indeed
 fragile, but it's also not really used.

 But if you say you see odd behavior, that would be worth debugging
 further.
