 Hi @zenithcity,

 I wanted to check if this issue is still occurring. After testing on the
 latest WordPress version, I found that menu items are no longer being
 added with a "draft" status when leaving the page from the Site Editor
 without saving the menu in draft mode.

 Could you confirm if you're still experiencing this issue?

 Attached the testing video for reference.
