 Hello,

 he WordPress Trac ticket
 [#62865](https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/62865) addresses the
inconsistency in font weights used for labels within the WordPress admin
interface.urrently, labels in the wp-admin area are set to a font weight
of 600, while similar labels in the site editor and Storybook guide use
weights of 500 or 400, depending on the context.
he proposal suggests standardizing these labels by:
 - aintaining the current font size of 14px for settings labels to ensure
readability, especially if there are plans to increase the size of inputs
 and buttons.
 - voiding the use of uppercase text for labels containing multiple words,
as this can lead to accessibility and legibility issues.
 - educing the font weight to either 500 or, preferably, 400. A lighter
font weight aims to enhance readability by minimizing the visual heaviness
associated with the current weight of 600.
his change is part of ongoing efforts to unify the design and improve the
user experience across different sections of the WordPress platform.
