 WordPress 6.9 now, finally works, without any actions and filters, to send
 emails reilably on all hosts I have experience with. All test pass.

 But, of course, a MTA operators must be able to override it, when made
 deliberately and correctly.  It's **not setting it at all** that may
 causes failures.

 What needs to be fixed is that it can be overriden by the -f parameter in
 the path.

 Wheter the bounce messages is meant for **either** humans or systems is
 irrelevant, they are for both automated systems and for humans, as most in
 programming that is not raw binary code.
