 @westonruter are we still interested on this? It seems that apart from
 @TobiasBg, it has not had any traction for the last 7 years, so probably
 most people are fine with the `kses` workaround for this kind of things.

 What do you think?

 I'm marking this as `close` candidate for `wontfix` but feel free to give
 your opinion whenever possible, and we will see how to proceed.
