 Thank you for the welcome, and thanks for taking the time to respond.

 I’m sorry, but I don’t know where my debug log is but I’m not seeing any
 messages anywhere else. I’m just not getting emails to say someone has
 left a comment.

 I tested it to see if WordPress could still send emails by logging off and
 then choosing ‘lost password’, and I still got an email with the new
 password instructions. I still get an email to say I’ve posted a new post.
 I’m also still getting emails from other WordPress org sites.

 But no messages

 I checked my settings under discussion, and send an email whenever someone
 leaves a comment is still checked.

 These emails stopped arriving right after Dreamhost notified me that my
 WordPress site had been upgraded to 6.9 and I didn’t have to do anything
 else. It was the support forum that redirected me here.

 I waited for a few plugin updates to come through before reporting an
 issue, just in case it was one of the plugins not working with the new
 site.

 I don’t know where my PHP configuration is either, but I can certainly go
 and have a look for that and any debug log. I just wanted to nip on with a
 reply to you as it had been several hours since you sent yours.
