 loving the activity here. thank you especially for working so diligently
 to discover, debug, and report upstream issues.

 supposing we narrow this down to those specific triggers, including
 misconfigured `-f` parameters, could we add in a check for that and adjust
 it? for example, if we detect the duplicate `-f` could we remove one
 before attempting to send the mail? or will the act of checking also
 trigger the failure?
