Comment:

 I noticed the existence of `$_old_requests_files` while reviewing this.

 This seems to be a very specific use case because of how Requests is
 loaded through an autoloader. But I was wondering if it would make sense
 to have deleted files from external libraries abstracted in some way to
 make it more clear.

 That's not a blocker though, and [61338] looks good to backport.
