 I was reviewing the inline docs, and I forgot that, since it was intended
 to be a replica of the `attachments` version it's also possible to add a
 string, which happens to get converted into a simple array with regular
 numeric keys. So I've added an extra unit test for this, just to make sure
 that both versions are always respected.
