Comment:

 Looking at the current code, I think this has not been fixed yet.

 The patch is not completely valid, ideally we should be refactoring the
 code to use the current version of `wp_resolve_post_date` to serve for
 both versions (if reproducible)

 If anyone wants to do a patch, please, first do a reproduction report
 before sending the patch.
