 I've tested this in WordPress 6.8.2 and confirmed that update-related core
 cron events are only registered on the **main site** in a multisite
 installation, not on subsites.

 I'm closing this ticket as **invalid**.

 If you encounter an issue again, please feel free to open a new ticket
 with detailed reproduction steps so we can investigate further.
