Comment:

 I think this has progressed since this issue was reported, as you can add
 navigation items. Either that or this use case was about permissions not
 being able to do that or an issue on the site. In order to move this issue
 along though for now let's close this out and if it is still something you
 are experiencing please report as suggested on the GitHub repository.
