 I'm commenting on ticket 31299, which discusses the potential
 security/usability issue of accidentally clicking malicious links in
 comment content within the WordPress admin area, particularly for spam
 comments.

 I've reviewed the discussion and the decision to close this as wontfix,
 understanding that the preference is for a more general solution
 applicable to all comment statuses, possibly adopting an approach similar
 to how Akismet presents links (showing the URL inline, removing the direct
 anchor link).

 My related question is whether there has been any further discussion or
 action taken on the broader idea mentioned in the closing comment by
 rachelbaker regarding improving how WordPress core presents all comments
 within the admin (regardless of status), perhaps by adopting the Akismet-
 like method of displaying the link URL alongside the text rather than
 making the text a clickable anchor.

 This would address the underlying problem of accidental clicks not just
 for spam, but for any potentially unwanted link in any comment that a
 moderator reviews, and seems to align with the direction suggested when
 this ticket was closed.
