 Am I the only one not convinced that this needs a revert?

 What bbPress does seems brittle either way, plugins shouldn't rely on the
 order of array items like that. And this doesn't appear to be a widespread
 problem either.

 My suggestion would be:

 1. Fix bbPress
 2. Ship 6.8 as-is, maybe make this more clear in the field guide if
 needed.
 3. Keep an eye out for more cases, and then reassess for 6.8.1.
