 If you‘re not aware, WordPress is doing such conversion already, see
 https://make.wordpress.org/core/2024/08/15/automatic-conversion-of-heic-
 images-to-jpeg-in-wordpress-6-7/. This ticket is about a small big in that
 implementation

 Checking for image/heif makes. I thought I had previously flagged this, so
 probably an oversight. cc @adamsilverstein
