 Related: #62252 was opened due to a remaining use of
 `wp_update_https_detection_errors()` which was deprecated here, but that
 usage wasn't removed.

 There's also some related documentation clean-up needed, as pointed out in
 the PR for that ticket https://github.com/WordPress/wordpress-
 develop/pull/7598/files#r1809152986.
