 Welcome to Trac!

 Please do not use Trac to solicit contributions to your plugin. It's not
 clear what this ticket is trying to report or accomplish. The code you've
 shared seems to downgrade sites to older versions of WordPress, but your
 follow up comment and the component selected reference taxonomies.

 I'm going to close it out. If there is an actual bug that you are trying
 to report, please reopen with detailed steps about what is expected to
 happen, what is actually happening, what conditions must be met, what
 steps must be taken, etc.
