 I think nobody here is talking about rewriting WP to JS but instead
 shipping Node.js with WordPress core, so we have both languages on the
 Server, PHP Devs can keep doing what they are doing, and Node devs have a
 place where they can finally write server-side javascript, for example
 when building plugins have a server.js that runs some server code or have
 javascript APIs for the creation of new rest endpoints, custom-post-types
 and more which was only possible with PHP before.
