 @chris1407 Chris1407, I tried reproducing the issue using WordPress 6.5
 and 6.5.3, no other plugins activated, and using the Twenty Twenty Four
 theme, but this seems to be working well for me.

 Have you tried disabling any other third-party plugin or switching to the
 default theme to test if something is affecting the search feature, like a
 conflict?
