Comment:

 Coming to this a few more years later, I have to agree with @sabernhardt
 that being able to do this with cropping makes sense. There have been even
 more changes along the years now and it seems to me that adding the close
 keyword at this point is a good outcome for this ticket.

 If further steps are raised or issues with this arise, we can always
 remove the keyword. Thanks everyone for your collaboration.
