 I saw there is an "old tickets" triage going on soon, so in case it helps,
 I will add that I think that can be closed now. The relevance of the
 XMLRPC API is diminishing quickly. Even though I and many other still rely
 on it, I think that the future will be best focused on REST API
 improvements.
