Comment:

 We have another proposal about Dashboard widget: #57785 and I think this
 close button can be useful to remove clutter and leave only widget user
 needs. It looks like it is not difficult to implement, and I am moving it
 into 6.4 but not sure if this can be a good-first-bug.
