 I could be wrong, but I think the idea is that these changes would be
 merged and then released in all branches at the same time. When a new
 major version is released, new minor versions are not packaged at the same
 time.

 @peterwilsoncc was your intention to include these strings in 6.1, and
 then backport for a future minor release? I've marked it `Future Release`
 for now.
