 Personally, I would prefer if the citation was smaller than the quote
 text, but they can not be styled separately in the editor.

 @jyolsna If I understand correctly, the expectation is for both the quote
 and cite to change size?


 Note: In WordPress 6.1, the content of the quote block are blocks. Users
 can add more than a paragraph to it, and many blocks have their own font
 size setting.
