 @ocean90 If you have time to test, I would be interested to know if the
 patch fixes #56295.

 @needle I tested your example and it appears that `&&` is
 produced even when `wptexturize` is only applied once. While I agree that
 it is unwanted, it looks to be outside the scope of this ticket. Perhaps
 you should open another ticket and/or search to see if it's already been
 reported in another ticket.
