 Agree with OP here. This update affects our users who just want a basic
 list function. It broke what didn't need fixing. Should have been
 introduced as a separate block altogether like an "Advanced list builder"

 The introduction of InnerBlocks (is that the intent?) is more for advanced
 users of WP. Not the majority of users.

 If this is introduced functionality, I don't see it mentioned in the
 official documentation. Any videos on how to use it?
