i tried to read source code files. for example, see
 https://core.trac.wordpress.org/browser/trunk/src/wp-includes/load.php . i
read them from smartphone. they are not as comfortable as they could be.

it is possible to make links from function names to their definitions. it
is possible to make links from php function names to pages like
 php.net/functionname .

maybe it is possible to allow to write comments and questions to selected
parts of the source code. they can be additional comments, explanations
like in the php.net function descriptions. but i do not know what to do
when the code to which comments are linked, changes. maybe to delete them
and there should be links to old comments together with their old code in
the left or right sides of the code.

i know, this is for trac bug tracker. but it is interesting to see what
people write here. and, as i have seen just now, it is not recommended, in
the trac's bug tracker, to directly submit ticket there before i installed
it, instead i "should probably first contact the local Trac administrator.
He can then decide if the problem needs to be fixed locally or in Trac
itself." and, indeed, i do not know, are there some plugins of trac or
 not.
