 @adamsilverstein The latest PR is in draft and there are a few
 `error_log()` calls in [attachment:"53232.3.diff"] so I've removed the
 `commit` keyword.

 Will you have bandwidth to refresh the patches or would it be best if the
 ticket were bumped from the 6.0 milestone?
