 @anou Apologies that this took so long to receive a response!

 I've tried to reproduce this issue, but I'm not sure I have enough
 information. Since it's been 6+ years and there don't seem to be similar
 reports, I'm thinking it may have been an issue the implementation.

 I'm also fairly certain that Gutenberg does not rely on the same
 `colorpicker` script. With this in mind, I'm going to close this one out,
 but if you're still able to reproduce this on the most recent version of
 WordPress (currently 6.0), feel free to reopen with more details.
