 Thanks for reporting this!

 The small unit selector was already used with the font-size control, at
 least as early as 5.8.

 Also, some people—like me—use a minimum font size, and that can result in
 cutting off part of the selected unit of measurement.

 As a block editor interface issue, this belongs on the Gutenberg repo. I
 can open a new issue there, unless you want to do that.
