 Hi everyone,

 I just ran into this issue myself and while doing some research on this
 and trying to figure out, what causes the redirect, I found this ticket.
 Are there any news on this ticket? I know it has been a while since
 somebody was active here, but I thought I give it a try.
 The bug still exists as of today with the latest WP version.
