 9.0 going out Sept 16.

 Gutenberg PR-24472 removes the Facebook and Instagram embeds—this was
 merged probably a release earlier than it should, but so be it, has to be
 done at some point.

 With the embeds removed from Gutenberg the impact isn’t too dramatic as it
 sounds, since any pasted link in Gutenberg calls out to the service and
 looks for oEmbed support. Facebook and Instagram will still support oEmbed
 until Oct 24, 2020.

 However, the Facebook and Instagram blocks will no longer show in the
 Block Editor inspector if searching for the blocks, but all the embeds and
 even new embeds will still work until Facebook makes the change to the
 service.
