 I think it's important to show the attempt. I think it's good to show it
 tried, and found a conflict, and it's asking on how to resolve it.
 Granted, I would love for the UI to be less "terminal like", but it's work
 that has to be done in general for all the upgrades, and shouldn't be in
 scope for this specific ticket.

 Similar answer for the other bits of advice. I know the suggested UI is
 not perfect, but it's clear and aligned to what we have today. I feel this
 is especially important for this specific issue as it's 11 years old and
 got sidetracked multiple times with extensions of scope. If we have a
 chance to ship this, let's focus.

 I'd suggest if you've ideas on how to improve the upgrade screen to open a
 separate ticket and work on that. :)
