 Hi there, welcome to WordPress Trac! Thanks for the report.

 As noted above, this was fixed in [48839] / #50913.

 For some context, [https://wordpress.org/support/wordpress-
 version/version-5-5/ WordPress 5.5] was released in August, and
 [https://www.php.net/releases/8.0/en.php PHP 8.0] only a week ago.

 WordPress 5.6 (coming up on [https://make.wordpress.org/core/5-6/ December
 8]) is the first version that [https://make.wordpress.org/core/2020/11/23
 /wordpress-and-php-8-0/ aims for (beta) compatibility with PHP 8.0].
