 Greeting people by first name is considered friendly in some cultures, but
 can be unacceptable, rude in others. Having the "nickname" field is great
 for this, would probably need a bit better explanation of how/where it is
 used.

 Sorting is also locale specific and can get pretty complicated in some
 cases.
