Comment:

 I discussed this with @Clorith in Slack, we'd both like to put it in the
 minor.

 I can commit this over the weekend (I’ll refresh the patch if needs be).
 Probably Sunday US time.

 The unit tests needed are adding a string to data providers and the new
 filter is well established code used in the function above it.
