 Hi @tejas5989,

 Thanks for this suggestion! My apologies for not receiving a response
 sooner.

 I reviewed the patch, and it appears that the `$wpdb` global was actually
 removed from this function in [41242] (see #41507), so this addition is no
 longer needed.
