Comment:

 Let's bring this back on topic please. BC Math isn't used in core,
 therefore it's a bug to unnecessarily list it as a recommended extension.

 The list of recommended and required extensions on the Hosting page is
 simply a copy of a list originally published by Pantheon and hasn't been
 vetted or checked for accuracy. It's certainly not a conclusive list that
 core should defer to.
