Comment:

 @Webzzz: I appreciate that this issue concerns you, but there are
 significant hurdles to overcome before we can ship an upgraded version of
 jQuery to all WordPress sites.

 #37110 is looking at upgrading both jQuery and jQuery UI in WordPress.

 support forums] for help getting your workaround functioning correctly.
