Comment (by philclothier):

I agree with the points being made by @bph and @brianhogg. I think at the
very least, there should be more guidance on what this all really means to
the user. Currently it is far too easy to to install the plugin via the
prompt without any format introduction to what Gutenberg is and is going
 to change on the site.

I'm left wondering what the goal of this callout is. If it is to get more
"eyes on" Gutenberg for testing, then this is not a good method of
gathering suitable candidates. All this will cause is further
 [backlash](https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/gutenberg/reviews/?filter=1)
against Gutenberg from "normal" users who may have a negative experience.
There needs to be far more hand-holding throughout this process, such as
on screen popups and pointers to each section when the plugin is
activated. Much like when WooCommerce is activated and you add your first
product, each section of the product editing screen is described and shown
 via on screen popups.

Currently, it feels like we're just throwing a callout with the idea of
"This will get more people to look at Gutenberg and give it a try, which
is cool". I feel like we're sleep walking into a nightmare for the support
 forums.
