 Let me add that despite being a live site I could deactivate plugins
 temporarily but please let me know: If I deactivate/reactivate a plugin,
 does it come back to normal? Does it keep all settings? Will everything
 work just the same as it did before deactivation? Does it depend on each
 particular plugin? Some of them are so central to the site that losing any
 configuration could be catastrophic.
