 I would prefer to see *everything*, especially "new" things committed to
 trunk for soak well in advance of 4.7.x merges, just to get extra testing
 of things prior to branch use - even though this is a small change,
 catching small discrepancies is hard if things get trunk commits delayed
 for any reason.
