 @nacin Beside the individual functions I asked for follow up on in 0003,
 I'd be interested in your overall take on [attachment:0005-missing-
 _deprecated_function-calls-pluggable.patch]. I think ultimately the goal
 here is to introduce a sense of consistency in how we actually deprecate
 stuff.
