 @nimmolo Unfortunately it's not that easy.

 This ticket definitely needs a refreshed patch and lots of testing
 (perhaps even a unit test).

 If anyone wants to work on this, feel free. Right now, this doesn't have
 priority though as it's not one of the current focuses of the project.
